Non-halogenated flame retardant based on organic phosphinates, which is very suitable for the glass-fibre
-reinforced PA6, PA66, PBT, PC, etc.
Main Composition: organic phosphinates
Feature: non-halogenated flame retardant based on organic phosphinates. The product achieves its flame retardant effect through intumescence. Excellent heat stability, processing and weather ability. It is very suitable for glass-fibre-reinforced polyamides

Application: FR-6001 is suitable for both glass-fibre-reinforced and unreinforced grades of polyamides. The flame retarded polyamide compounds exhibit very good physical and electrical properties. In glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide 6 or 66, a dosage of 15 to 20 % (by wt.), FR-6001 is usually sufficient to obtain the UL 94 V-0 classification for electrical components (at 1.6 as well as 0.8 mm thickness). Subject to the polymer grade, processing conditions and glass- fibre reinforcement, the dosage of the flame retardant may vary.
